We hear a lot of negative talk about “kids these days” and sometimes I wonder if I am making a difference in their lives. Then you get a “special delivery” from a student. ♥️
Read a story about a different culture so my kids had the privilege of talking to @LeaMorlacchi on Skype to learn a few things about the Italian culture! Miss this beautiful girl!
Finished our novel study of The Wild Robot talking about the virtues Roz portrayed and making our own Roz robots! Love the creativeness from my Ss! @itspeterbrown
Loving my first “International Week” at my school! The Ss are chosen as ambassadors, learn about a country, do a presentation to their class, and we eat foods from these countries for lunch! Today we get to meet an alpaca 🦙
Love that my Ss were “arguing” about who would go to the public library first to get The Wild Robot Escapes and got a picture today of a student reading it over their Thanksgiving break! #lovereading#thewildrobot@itspeterbrown
@mrs_smoke @larree12 You were so busy! I had a great time! I’m so glad I was able to do this! Thanks for everything you and the team do for teachers! You are amazing!
Teachers to celebrate my love of book pairings I am giving away 5 signed sets of these two, I Survived nonfiction and historical fiction both focusing on tornadoes. Retweet to enter. I will contact winners privately.
@jmill517@dougand32 We won’t be able to do this because we do a big Veteran’s Day activity where our Ss write letters to veterans inviting them to a prayer service. We will be working on this during that exact timeline. Sounds fun though! Bummed we can’t do it.
