Can’t cope with this kind of message on a Monday 😭❤️ Nice to know I’m still remembered despite not teaching there anymore. Hoping I can do the same here! #MotivationalMonday
Super proud of all my EHS Historians on their exam success. Now I’m proper clocking off to enjoy maternity leave with my two boys for the year. Looking forward to a wee visit soon. Best of luck for 23/24 ⭐️ 🍀
Well done to our historians on results day! You guys totally smashed it 🤩🤩Remember if results didn’t go as planned, they do not define you. We are super proud of you all #EHSHistorians#NoWrongPath

And a special thanks to @MrCameronHist, @_MissHunt_ and Miss Morrison who have had such an impact on their history experience as I only arrived 2 years ago! Incredibly proud of these youngsters #EHSHistorians
Last lesson with a full house for the AH class of 22/23. Standing proudly with their dissertations! One testing exam to go - “quit Stalin” and squeeze in the extra revision! EHS History dept wish you all the best for the future! It’s been a joy 🤩 ⭐️ #EHSHistorians

@sqanews@MrStrachanMaths@sqanews a terrible decision give the long term disruption that these pupils have just as much endured. I would love to see the data from this research. I assume part of it will show how many staff weren’t able to attend appeals process and that likely weighed in on the decision
So saddened to hear about the death of Zigi Shipper. Was just discussing him with my S3s this afternoon as well. Had the pleasure of working with him through the lessons of Auschwitz Programme. We must now continue to tell his stories @HolocaustUK@UCL_Holocaust@HMD_UK
It was with much sadness we learn of the death of Zigi Shipper. He visited Elgin regularly and spoke at Elgin High Scool and Elgin Academy about his life and experiences as a Holocaust Survivor. His message of "Do not hate" remains so relevant to all generations. @HolocaustUK
S3s this is an interesting read about our discussion last week regarding people still being tried for Nazi war crimes. The first woman to be tried in decades - Irmgard Furchner: Nazi typist guilty of complicity in 10,500 murders https://t.co/rWe3ZjOw2R
@teachermumdone @maternityCPD I got a new job 36weeks pregnant during covid. Job came to a sudden end then went somewhere new after mat leave. I was absolutely terrified as loved my previous school. Haven’t regretted it one bit. Slotted in so well I a supportive school and brilliant kids and now a promotion!
Our S3s are in the midst of their assessments where they were given a choice from any of the topics covered. This has enable pupils to choose something they are most interested in and produce fab pieces of work. Below is just one excerpt from S3 pupil Leo Crookes PPT👌👌👌
