We’ve gone Greek! Over the next several weeks, we will be indulging in the Greek world! This week, we used our Percy Jackson novel as a tool to hunt for words containing Greek and Latin roots. Knowing these roots helps students make meaning to new words. Proud! #interdisciplinary

Last Xmas Eve, my little one was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and we spent Xmas in her hospital room. The experience was humbling and it opened my eyes. The kids spent time making cards for the ped unit at the Elliott Hospital, and I will deliver them on Christmas! ❤️
Pete Frates, the Beverly man whose battle with ALS sparked the Ice Bucket Challenge, has died at the age of 34, according to a release from the Frates family. Rest in peace, Pete ❤️
