Saw one of my kids while I was driving and yelled: “Aye, pull up your pants, young man.” The boy, caught off guard, frowned, then realized it was me, smiled, and said, “Aw... wassup, Mr. Reed?” as he fixed his pants. Our RELATIONSHIP is the reason that encounter went well.
