This morning, 6R and 6G joined forces for a special STEM activity! These awesome students were asked to build an army man launcher with tape, string, popsicle sticks, a plastic cup, and spoon. We designed, tested, altered, and retested our designs before the big competition! 🚀

What is the meaning behind your name? ❔ Today, we read The Name Jar by @YangsookChoi and did some research to find out more about our names! One of my students (from Korea) was able to make a text to self connection and taught us how to write his name in Korean. 🎉

SLP Day 14 - STEM CHALLENGE: Answer math questions to earn spaghetti noodles, use them to create the tallest free-standing tower possible, then measure it using only nonstandard units of measurement. Our students LOVED this collaborative activity today! @WECDSB 🍝🗼

SLP Day 13 - Fireball has been our new favourite game to play in the gym. Take 3 steps and throw the dodgeball when you have it in your hand, if you hit someone… they sit down until you get hit! 🏐
