It was a happy day for me today walking into my first National Computing Science class where there was 11 girls and 9 boys! Proud teacher moment!

If your CS learners struggle to provide enough detail for analysis and evaluation type Database tasks and questions then you should check out sections of the DDD #STACS tutorial recording below👇especially 15m-45m & 1h 16m-1h 24m https://t.co/Axt9KlBpwb
Hope all my past and present pupils are doing well and looking forward to the festive season. I'm sure you'll all miss me having my mini 🎄 up in my classroom come next week when December is upon us. This year has just gone so fast being home with this girl! #LexieJeanes
What a beautiful moment. This is what teaching is all about, if I help one kid just to feel this way then it's all been worth it #teaching

Happy Holidays to all of my pupils. Its been another rough year for you all but as always you have done yourselves and the school proud! For those of you moving onto pastures new I wish you the best of luck and keep in touch. #schoolsout#WeAreWoodmill
@PaMemorial@perthacademy@PAS1FrenchTrip@CatherineMacGr5 I'm sure we have 😁 I was a little late in posting my pic of her so she is 11 days now. Was born on 30th May and a wee Chunk with all her feeding 😂
I know they will be adults now! Crazy to think! Hope they remember our fun trip as their fav high school memory ❤️ def one of mine!
As a teacher, you always feel bad about leaving "your kids(pupils)" at a time when you feel they need you but this girl has made it all worth it 💕 Welcome to the world Lexie Jane Jeanes ❤️ #myworld #LexieJeanes #LeviJeanesIsntSoSure 😂
@CompSciScot We get 0.5 a week in S1 (rota), 1 period in S2, 3 in S3, 4 at National, 6 at Higher and 4 for AH/NPAs. Least represented subject in BGE. But still have classes of 20 which is more important. If Lockdown has taught us anything its that we are a practical subject!
Senior Course Choice reminder. Please contact Mrs Doran or Mrs Jeanes (if she is now your GT) once you have chosen your subjects for next year, and we will call you back on the number you provide. The deadline for all calls to be completed by is FRIDAY.
So, in light of the FM announcement I have one question.
What will happen when students ask to come into school to complete their practical assessments but are then told (as CS teachers are told) that CS is not a practical subject in Scotland? 🤦♂️
