Did you know that kite flying began in China over 2000 years ago? It is believed that your kite can carry away bad luck and talk to spirits in the sky. It was a great day in Kindergarten....let your heart be light, go fly a kite! ❤️@PDSD_Pennell
We went outdoors to read The Dandelion Seed...we learned that dandelion is food for animals and also, it helps the bees! We were happy to pick and spread more seeds!(weeds) 😁
I’m nearly ready to open a flower shop (it was a thought a few years ago) with this huge stack of roses, hydrangea, tulips, etc. from my really awesome Kindergarten students. Thanks for my other gifts as well! It’s so very sweet to be remembered 💗. Love you my penguins!
Looking at ourselves in mirrors to see how we have changed from our beginning of year school pictures. The writing was funny ‘I looked like a baby’ and ‘Now I lost a tooth!’
Everyone who was supposed to stand up for children stood by thru COVID as American children suffered through irrational policies.

@youngeorgina We definitely need one of these for every classroom. Only just started it during the holidays but such a good and important read! @HopemanSchool 📚 🏫 🐬
I have *another* free copy of The Art and Science of Teaching Primary Reading to give away. Retweet this tweet for a chance to win it. I will select a winner at random on Monday 18th April.
New Male Artist Of The Year at the ACM Awards last night. Thank you to my family, my friends and my team for always believing in me. For always telling me I had what it took to play country music on the big times. Long way to go but headed in the right direction. Love y’all!
