V much regret not tidying up in the background - the sweet irony when considering the subject material. What a fab thing to have the opportunity to do on maternity leave, surely this classes as CPD?! Thank you @gregjames @bellamackie @heatherrhian can’t wait for the rest of s2!

@MrEFinch @TyburnFleet Not yet !

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@MrEFinch @TyburnFleet Always a bit gutted to share a surname (as a lefty Sociology teacher!)

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@Balavage @22_Lex_kate This made me laugh, I couldn’t believe it when they gave me paracetamol. I’ve taken stronger for period pain!

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@jessphillips Big respect to you Jess. (I left the Labour Party this month, I couldn’t align myself with it anymore). Hard but right decision and hope you continue to make an impact from the backbenches x

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@SimplyCookcom hi simply cook my
Box this month is a bit all over the place! 5 recipe cards which do not match the 4 spice mixes …. And a duplicate meal !!

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@Biol_DrOg I did my PGCE placement here back in 2013 ! Lovely school and great to see whole school T&L in action

Teacher parents of school age kids.
How do you manage the drop offs…? I am struggling to be in two places that are not close by for 8:30am 🙈 #teacherparents #teachersoftwitter

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@PastoralKaty As a teacher and parent to two young kids (one a slightly feral toddler) I feel more tired right now than I do during term time
😂😂😂

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

Unpopular opinion : the summer holidays are too long. #toddlerparenting

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@MartinSLewis @bbc5live Sorry to miss your deadline - but there’s a whole area of sociology on this resources and decision making in households ! (A level soci teacher here)

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@GeogChat @GeogMum I have read exam boards are moving away from colours (unless imperative to question understanding eg coloured wires in physics) towards things like cross hatching etc in order to be more inclusive - which is great going forwards!

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@GeogChat @GeogMum You don’t even have to make a formal application to the exam board - an invigilator can do it. Is good practice to have your senco put a note in the students file in your exams access arrangements folder tho.

So after Easter I am picking up the Head of EPQ role at my school. Any advice or must follows?! #EPQ #epqcoordinator #research #epq #AQAepq

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@carolew147 Have you looked at the work of the Bell Foundation Carole? Can very much recommend, lots of free CPD webinars and practical suggestions for classrooms.

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@FrauT16 Do you still need any help on this …? X

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@JudeVandervelde @MsLECHistory @Sathnam Ha just came to say both of these!second vote ! X

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@Miss_Goodyear @SLTchat @suttontrust Me ✋

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@suttontrust @AngelaRayner @EstherMcVey1 @amolrajan @AlexScott @MPeakeOfficial @PatMGlass @StaceySolomon I was told at Uni by a student that it was unbelievable that I was clever as my accent made me sound really thick (west midlands). Also used to do student radio and a bbc rep told me if I wanted to get into broadcasting I needed to lose the ‘awful accent’

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

@FrauT16 You can join my Lego club xx

[Kate Sewell @MrsKSewell]

Had a great day today getting trained up in …LEGO THERAPY! 🤩 a great tool for developing communication and teamwork skills in children who find social interaction and communication challenging. Brilliant intervention strategy, can’t wait to get this going. #LEGO #legotherapy
