@MrReevesKemp @VitalYork I also wondered if you have had a play with MagicschoolAI and Diffit? I've done some CPD with staff in our school using these and staff were amazed at how useful they are. Diffit especially works well with Google products. Massive timesaver

I'm working with some new EAL students who speak little to no English. Desperately trying to find some tools to help them settle in to school, communicate with peers and teachers and access some learning. Has anyone used anything good? #edu #edtech #EAL

@k18ak Nah! Saturdays are for housework and spending time with my own kids. Hopefully the government will stop robbing school budgets to give teachers the independently recommended pay rise and no one will have to be inconvenienced by strikes. I'd much rather never strike again tbh.

Five years on from starting our Google journey with @clint_lees and @VitalYork, spent a morning training teachers how to get more out of their Google workspace apps and interactive boards with @Annotate_Net. So excited to have 'sticky' annotations on Google slides! #edtech

@clint_lees @PillingerMiss @MrsJHadfield That has been exactly the strategy. Longer vids would be exhausting for staff and students. We've structured ours carefully with explanation, pause and task and its worked well. All live lessons next week. Exciting but overwhelming times 🤞

@PillingerMiss @MrsJHadfield @clint_lees I'm using Loom at the minute and find it works really well. If you register an education account via school email you get free premium features. This means unlimited number of recordings of up to 45 minutes each. Great for explanations of GCSE and A level content.

@VitalYork 100% agree with this. It has been great to be able to give feedback on students work and have them respond to that feedback during lockdown. Grateful to @VitalYork and @clint_lees for helping to make this possible at my school.
