Sleep deprivation can cause psychosis, medications can cause psychosis, bipolar can cause psychosis, PPP while rare, includes psychosis, but because she looked “normal” she couldn’t be in psychosis #lindsayclancy

Understand what being on a 1:1 is like. I don’t think she will ever live her best life again. That doesn’t take away the horror of what happened to her children, but she will never be the same

@veronicaromm @thatvirgobrat4 I also work in the mental health field as well as have personal experience with 2 people in my family that have psychosis. One of them it’s very obvious and one of them you wouldn’t know it unless you knew the subtle signs they show

@lulufleur I’m not missing anything and I didn’t say psychosis was a free pass to kill anyone, especially children. I’ve seen the darkness of psychosis make a normal wonderful person become something else. Unless you’ve experienced it you can never understand it

@McKaylaRoseRed No one is saying postpartum depression is an excuse. Psychosis is a different ballgame and can have someone do things they would never do if their mind was right. I believe there still needs to be consequences for the actions though

@itskikidanger Andrea Yates also killed her children when her husband wasn’t home and didn’t stop after killing one. She drowned 5 children some she had to chase, but according to her Lindsay wasn’t in psychosis because she didn’t stop after 1
