@zachary_hamby The cards create a perfect opportunity for students to discuss the content in a relaxed way. Then they can move into a more formal discussion or write about their ideas. I love using manipulatives as a pre write activity

@zachary_hamby Now I’m really thinking- I have a Macbeth unit in the fall. First time teaching it. I’m thinking about creating Macbeth cards and having students create a game 😍

@zachary_hamby Another idea: groups could collaborate and choose a few cards to put in order. Then they can discuss their reasoning. Final product could be individual writing on their reasoning OR they can create their own story with the cards

@zachary_hamby Here’s another idea: players place all cards face down. Player one flips two cards up and makes a connection between the two cards. If all players agree that the connection is logical, player one keeps the cards. If not, cards go back into the pool. Repeat.

@zachary_hamby Here’s one: small group gets a set of cards, Ss divide them evenly among themselves, player one places a card, player 2 places a card next to that and explains a connection between the two cards, repeat with player 3, etc

@ESMathTeacher Loose fitting linen pants are the way to go for me. Comfier than jeans and can dress up or down.
