Zoe Webster will pay it forward when she puts her Hayes Family Memorial Scholarship to good use as a special education teacher. Zoe will attend Central Michigan University upon graduation from @WeAreSCHS. "Thank you for blessing me with this scholarship," she said. #RCSFcares
his father left when he was 12, now he has a YT channel called “Dad, how do I?” to help kids who’re growing up without dads. teaching them basic tasks that you’d usually ask your dad for help on. this is the purest thing 😭
Watching President Obama’s graduation address tonight I think I finally understand Obamagate. It’s the scandal of having a president being able to speak with empathy, humor, insight, inspiration and in complete and coherent sentences.
Some perspective: Until MI ends its practice of balancing the budget on the back of our students, all new gov’t programs, no matter how laudable or bi-partisan, are taken from our classrooms & our kids’ future. Now is the time to make K-12 THE priority. #SchoolRaidFund
Wonderful night watching the class of 2020's Honors Convocation on my computer screen from my couch. I miss my kiddos. I miss my coworkers. I miss teaching in a classroom. And I hate this virus. #wewereallrobbed

@EdWeekTeacher I didn't want to go to work and do the same thing every day. Every day brings a new challenge when I teach from engaging kids to creating lessons no two days are repeated!
