Once again, we had the opportunity to take a group of our Year 9 students to Jesus College, Oxford, and they had a fantastic time! Many thanks to @jesus_access for hosting us and helping bridge the gap between secondary and higher education. @StCyresEnglish@CyresYr9
Another successful evening spreading the good word about GCSE media studies! So proud to help showcase the hard work both we as a department and our students put in. @StCyresSchool@MrStephenson5@MissPursall
I felt so fortunate to be part of our fantastic media department last night as we showcased our A-level course. Here's hoping our Year 11 students enjoyed chatting all things media with us! @MrStephenson5
Absolutely loved watching the students perform in Matilda last night! It was clearly the result of hard work and dedication from all involved and an absolute achievement. Da iawn to all on stage and behind the scenes!#cyresmatilda

It was an absolute privilege to be in our school hall as Years 11 and 10 opened their GCSE results today. After a number of years of total disruption to their education, they have done themselves (and me) proud. Llongyfarchiadau pawb! @CyresYr11@CyresYr10
Well done to both Y11 and Y12 tackling covid derived logistical issues, absences and some interesting exam papers to complete your first exams! Only Y13 and GCSE Unit 2 to go now #wecandothis#youarechampions#mediastudies
Our Year 9 students had a fantastic day visiting Jesus College, Oxford, where they were able to watch a performance of The Taming of the Shrew, discuss the meaning of life in a lecture 'taster' session, and tour the beautiful city. Thanks @magl_williams for hosting us!
