Today is World Cancer Day. Three years ago I lost my lovely dad to this cruel disease. I miss his chats and daft sense of humour every day.
Sending love, strength and hope to everyone fighting cancer, those who’ve been through it, and anyone who’s lost a loved one. 💙💙
3 years ago we lost our lovely dad to cancer.
His primary cancer was bowel, if he would have taken his free screening test, he would still be here today.
No words can describe the hole he has left in our family 💔💔
PLEASE TAKE YOUR TEST - SAVE YOUR LIFE 💙 #bowelcancer#Cancer
Lovely to meet Lesley our new Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) whilst shadowing our Nurse Consultant Stuart in ophthalmology clinic this morning. Hearing about the great work happening linking with @SightMattersIOM and plans for education programme and support for relatives.
@IainKewley @PatrickMackle4 @rcgp I second this statement! A lovely work life balance, never too far from home! You can finish work and be on a beach, prom, walking the hills or just chilling at home within 45 minutes!
