Registry of Motor Vehicles in four states use automatic voter registration.
In Massachusetts, when renewing or issuing new licenses over a three-month period, people's status was changed from unaffiliated to the Libertarian Party, disenfranchising up to 15,000 voters.
Unaware voters were turned away from the polls on March 5, 2024, during the Presidential Primary. The then-current State Committee Woman, Maria Collins, issued a warning about what was happening to Brad Wyatt. His response was to wait and see what action the other states took first.
On March 6, 2024, Brad Wyatt attended an event for the Libertarian Party instead of a Freedom Fighters event.
