Ending our short week with a #stemchallenge ! After reviewing the engineering process, students worked in teams to create a structure that could withstand an earthquake. It was so exciting watching our incredible @LinderEagles collaborate to solve real world problems!
Outdoor learning is alive and well at Linder Elementary, just like our beautiful Monarch garden! Today we surveyed our garden and counted the different varieties of wildflowers and created pictographs of our data. Outdoor learning is the best learning!
STEM Friday is back in 2nd grade! Today we used the Engineering Process to design, build, and test bridges that would hold the weight of five erasers using a variety of solid materials. So proud of my students and their teamwork and perseverance!
Linder Outdoor Learning in 2nd grade! Our Linder scientists walked our beautiful campus, explored our outdoor learning areas, and recorded their observations to share with their classmates. We are all scientists!

Shoutout to all the parents wrangling squirmy kids in the narthex & outside & in the back of the church, because itโs the Feast of the Holy Family & itโs only fitting they all go crazy at the second Mass this weekend.
@docbiry I am incredibly disappointed by this, especially because they sent out a survey to all alumni about racial bias on campus and we let them have it. Allowing this organization form would be a sign of good faith to all of their alumni and stakeholders. It's a real shame.
Cozy british murder mysteries are the only thing I can watch right now because the thought of dying from something dumb, like a bell ringing competition rivalry gone wrong, rather than a very real deadly virus, is oddly comforting.
