@mdkrauszer @alicekeeler I agree. If Google "makes a copy" for students, I can immediately check their progress.... If I tell Students to make their OWN copy, and they don't attach it right away, I can't see it!!
@alicekeeler I think it's invisible bc there isn't a notification sent. So students have zero cause to look for a private comment they don't know is there. I use the 'leave comment' feature on the text and @ to notify students.
@alicekeeler But.. what if "students can view" and I tell them to make a copy... And they don't immediately attach? I can't see it. I do not make a copy for everyone either. What's the best way with a template?!?!
Happy Monday! Our team asked students to practice a fire drill at home.. Check out our Virtual Fire Drill! Does this count for April? 😉 @JeffcoSchoolsCo@jeffcoedtech @TeamJeffco @COJasonGlass @SummitMiddle@WeVideo https://t.co/5QsJji9d7a
@alicekeeler have you discovered a way for students to collaboratively "turn in/submit" a shared project via classroom? One person attaches due to ownership, but only that student can view rubric attached to classroom. @google#GoogleClassroom#edtech@GoogleForEdu
Thank you @Google and @JeffcoSchoolsCo .. was able to do video conferencing with several students to just check in, say hello, and have real contact!! It was so good for all of us, as the human contact piece is so vital in education, especially with middle schoolers #GoogleMeet
@cultofpedagogy Our middle school of 1,000+ students scheduled routine for students, providing 'windows' of learning time/attendance expectations.Provides consistency for students, teachers, and parents. All teachers use the same digital agenda hyperdoc format as well. Structure is Key!!!
