The 6 month mark in any sustained crisis is always difficult. We have all adjusted to this "new normal", but might now feel like we're running out of steam. Yet, at best, we are only 1/3 the way through this marathon. How can we keep going? THREAD /x
I don’t find talk of children being 3 months behind in school very helpful. Some of my foster children have come to me ‘years behind’ where they might have been. They catch up. Teachers, in my experience, are good at teaching and happy, secure, loved children will learn quickly.
My 3-year-old nephew is the friendliest toddler you'd ever wish to meet, and always says hello to all the people he walks past.
On his daily walk today, though, he had to pretend... 🤣
Hope this brightens up your day!
Inspired by #Quiz and due to having nothing better to do... here are some of my favourite ‘waves’ from hopeful contestants on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
Starting with this dainty effort from Brian.
*A little treat*
