@mushface76@Moulsham_Drama Good evening, I have attached the Drama club rota for you. The year 7’s will also have an opportunity to sign up for the Enrichment clubs, available at Moulsham, next Wednesday during their Enrichment fair.
@Kellyapplegate5@MoulshamHigh Aw thank you. She was a pleasure to teach. I have her for one lesson out of her six Science lessons next year. I will look forward to that hour. I hope her arm heals soon. Have a fun summer. 🙂
Transverse waves have oscillations that are PERPENDICULAR to the direction on energy transfer.
Longitudinal waves have oscillations that are PARALLEL to the direction of energy transfer
Year 11: make sure that you are really familiar with all the new GCSE content. Exam boards like to test it when it is new:
-Parallelogram of forces + resolution of forces
-vectors and scalars
- Magnets and electromagnetism (new to Trilogy)
-centre of mass (new to Trilogy)
Make sure you know the definitions for both and examples.
Vector- A quantity with a magnitude(size) and a direction.
Scalar- A quantity with a magnitude only.
‼️This is new material to AQA GCSE and so may be used. https://t.co/JwG5s2xEQc
I have compiled all of the formula triangles that may come up in the forces section. Blue= triple only Yellow= everyone Green = given to you.
Hope this helps you learn them @MoulshamScience
Forces learning Map used at the last revision session. Make sure you know the difference between Vectors and Scalars- Speed and Velocity are the two they tend to favour asking you about.
You are now expected to know and be able to apply Newton’s three laws of motion. Hopefully this learning map will help you visualise them in an exam. @MoulshamScience
For all the pupils who say ‘when will I need this formula in real life?’ I have just used Energy = Power x time to calculate whether there is enough Energy left in our patio gas bottle compared to the Power rating of the BBQ and the estimated time of use! 🍔🌭 Have a great day!
