It’s also still evident from this video that is available in the public domain, that the puppet-master is pulling the strings.

IMO, The shift from ‘removing’ Jeff and replacing him with Nathan from the Club-Med Paris office was all smoke and mirrors to take the heat off Fosun.

Nothing new - nothings changed.

We have a stadium crumbling down - a team that’s crumbled and we are being run into the ground.

Sell our best assets year on year - no net spend. But it’s all on the Manager. Fosuns plan to take the heat off them.

We deserve to be in the Championship for the grossly negligent, out of depth, out of touch ownership.

Let’s ask the real question:

‘Would Fosun with any of of the companies within their conglomerate - Lanvin - Silver Cross - Club Med replace their BEST performers year on year and replace them with cheaper alternatives - and allow the to operate from crumbling locations and accept failure?’

I think we ALL know the answer.

These custodians need to uphold their responsibility to our city and club.

Anyway (R) is all but confirmed and I'm in a reflective mood. It hurts. And yeah, I could legitimately go off on one about the managed decline under Fosun and Jeff Shi, but that’s a rant for another post (back to the resentment and bitterness soon). 

This evening, I’m choosing the glass‑half‑full version of being a Wolves supporter. The wine is helping. 

Listening to our away end in the first half run through their full repertoire of modern day chants has left me feeling contemplative. My mind is drifting back to our latter-day journey - the magic of that 2017/18 season. A season full of hope, belief, and that feeling that something special was brewing at Molineux.

And after our promotion…  

We played in Europe.  
We reached a European quarter‑final.  
We finished 7th. Twice.  
We caused numerous upsets.
We walked out under the arch at Wembley for an FA Cup semi‑final.
And we were privileged to watch genuine elite talent.

Those European nights at Molineux will stay with me forever. Under the lights, the noise, the sense that our little patch of WV1 had stepped onto the world stage.

And one of the best parts for me? I got to live every second of it with my two lads beside me. The wife and I have had season tickets since the early 90s - decades of dreaming and suddenly we were watching those dreams unfold in front of our kids eyes.

So yeah, it hurts. It should. But it doesn’t wipe away a single memory. Quite possibly the best times in a lifetime of watching Wolves. If anything, it reminds me why clubs like Wolves are different. Why it gets under your skin. Why it becomes part of your family story.

Will we be back? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe not quickly, maybe not easily. But we’ll remember that we’ve already lived moments most fans can only dream of.

So if you’re feeling nostalgic, look back at that unforgettable 17/18 season. Ruben Neves and Conor Coady still talk about it as their favourite year, and despite everything that came after, it’s a season I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

So, as the saying goes…

“Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”

Relegation will be confirmed at 7:30pm this evening I’ve no doubt.

What I do know is this has been a managed decline over the past three years and this day was a long time in the making.

We can blame managers etc - but it’s ALL on our custodians @Fosun_Intl

Selling our best players year on year replacing them with inadequate alternatives - selling our captain four seasons running - this season though we haven’t even got a recognised captain to sell!

The Nathan Shi appointment is all smoke and mirrors and was a deliberate ploy to take the pressure off Fosun and now that will hopefully backfire very quickly - it’s the owners that need to be on the firing line.

The sooner these charlatans are out of our club and sell up the better. They wouldn’t run any of their other businesses this way but deem it fit to run Wolverhampton Wanderers with such negligence.

FOSUN do the right thing - get out of our club - stop the rot and make the sale to someone who understands the importance of running a football club the right way and wants to rebuild not regress.

It’s our club - not your vanity project.
