My jumpstart class made their star reading boxes today. Each week we read a leveled book, learn a new word, and practice reading the sentences. Then we take it home and read it to three adults & put the book in our Star box! Thanks Bowman PTO for donating our boxes! We ❤️ you!

Two of our butterflies have hatched this morning! Our classes are so excited to finally see them! We still have three who are in their chrysalis.

We have lots of excitement in our classroom as were starting our study on the lifecycle of the butterfly. Our caterpillars arrived today, and our science center is set up for our junior scientists to observe and write in our butterfly journals!

Our classes are becoming polar bear experts! We have been researching and wrote a book about polar bears and made these really cool polar bear facts!

It Is grinch day at BPS! The kindergarten teachers wore specially designed grinch T-shirts made by Mrs. Ralston!

Our class enjoyed decorating AND eating holiday cookies for our gingerbread man day-part of all of the fun for our BPS holiday countdown days!

Our classes made butter today just like the Pilgrims! But instead of a butter churn we used a peanut butter jar and a marble and lots of muscle power from the students.
