My former students know the two things I ❤️ the most are my husband and travel. In order to continue to enjoy them both in this era of COVID and at 57, I am retiring from teaching. Thank you Hamilton for 13 wonderful years. I will miss you. @HTSD_Grice@WeAreHTSD@HTSD_Crockett
Too bad we won’t get a chance to show the impact of IM on test scores. Even with all those hard earned hours, huge holes in knowledge will exist for a long time as a result of pandemic. @HTSD_Grice#GriceProud
One thing I will miss about remote learning is working one-on-one with my students. Sometimes for as much as an hour. Just the two of us. Without 20+ kids also needing help at the same time. What would it be like to be able to do that with any kid who needs it at anytime. 🤷♀️
Hey @funnyordie ask Will Ferrell if he would give a speech to my graduating seniors. I named my dog after his character. That’s got to count for something. Evidence in attached pics!
PLN please give me a retweet.
Can I just say that I am humbled by the efforts of my students. Basically, this sucks. But they’re out there working. Trying. Questioning. Improving. Even in the middle of a pandemic, they want to improve!! OMG!! #GriceProud@HTSD_Grice@RashaanMonroe@WeAreHTSD
@HTSD_Grice we miss all of our student. The 8th grade Pride House team put together a video to give you a glimpse into the teacher world. @WeAreHTSD

As I sit here at the end of yet another day of remote teaching, I want to say thank you to all those wonderfully supportive parents out there. I know this is difficult for you, but there’s no way I can do this without you! @HTSD_Grice@RashaanMonroe@ApRuzich
This is the progress that my students have made on Imagine Math since we started remote learning. We’re moving on to new material rather than review, so I may not need to find another door, but I like having the visual. Miss them. So proud! @RashaanMonroe@WeAreHTSD@HTSD_Grice
