@MEmathnerd Haha! I have just recently gotten there too! I can’t imagine what you’re dealing with in the city. It frustrates me to no end that the kids are the ones, again, that are the hardest hit. There is no way we can meet their needs. That goes against every fiber in my being!
It has been such an incredible experience seeing children play with other children again this week! ❤️🌳
Something we took for granted just a few months ago....is now desperately needed in unimaginable ways.

ATTN Teachers!! What do we call all the work we do that is not classroom instruction? I'm looking for a descriptive term that will include things like grading, communicating with staff/parents, PD, collaborating, etc.
Remember when they said we need state tests & report cards because otherwise teachers & principals would slack off?
Well, testing & state report cards are canceled and all I see are teachers & principals working harder than ever before.
Let’s trust our professionals.
Superintendents and admin, as you go back to school tomorrow, take a moment & breathe. Remember, your health & health of staff and students are more important than any program change you will implement for the next few weeks. Always people before programs! Especially in a crisis
