We tell pupils to study, but have we actually taught them how to study??
Today I finished off my ‘How to study: a simple guide on how to study smarter not harder’ PowerPoint. Hopefully will help senior pupils learn how to study effectively ✨
I appreciate some people will just save the images straight from here so I’ve attached the other two methods just in case. The wonderful sketch note examples are from @Miss_McF 🫶

It's so important for teachers to understand the implications of Cognitive Load Theory & the limitations of working memory for their students. But it's just as important for them to understand the importance of those things for themselves... A🧵
I've been using @DiffitApp and created a resource that explores the politics of AIC, the Inspector and links these to the opening of The Communist Manifesto ("A spectre is haunting Europe—the spectre of communism").

Hi all,
Don’t forget that we are continuing to use Feedback Advice and Revision Technique Suggestions each time we deep mark the pupils’ work. There needs to be much more evidence of FARTS in your classrooms if the children are to reach their potential.
Thanks x
