Rediscovered this quote in my SEL course at @LehighU and it hit me at exactly the right time. This is such a key idea that students AND staff should consistently practice: space between an action and your reaction.

The thing that makes me happiest as a teacher is when students work together EFFECTIVELY and continue their collaboration even when they think I’m not watching. That is true engagement! Proud of my crew for taking ownership and diving right in, even if it’s overwhelming at first.
