@HoDandHeart My children are now 17 & 14 and I didn’t make either of their 1st days. They were great and understood it was because I had to be there for my new children. I know for a fact I was far more traumatised by it than they were 😂. I did make sure I was home early that night though.
@MrsTRLTeach I had to change rooms as changing year group, also my new room was used as a bubble room too, so needed gutting. My TA came in for 2 days and we did loads and then I have popped in a few other times. I love arranging my room and find it therapeutic. No right or wrong way!
@ellhunt @TeachingMoorex My husband left me after 23yrs together. My kids were 10 and 6. He had an affair with the mum of our Son’s best friend. It destroyed me. It was 2014 and the new curriculum had just been launched and I was changing schools after 13 yrs. still not sure how I survived but I DID! Xxx
@MrsBat29 @head_plate@secretHT1 I would choose my TA every time!!! I couldn’t do the job to the standard I do it without her!!!! She has already done 2 full days with me sorting our new room( gutting it)!!!!! @annalewis37 I can’t thank her enough!

@sjg1703@KindLeader Ours is very similar to above. The distancing in KS1 .. nightmare, they have very little special awareness, so it was just constant reminders. Our head sent an email of the daily expectations, eg hand washing, outside as much as possible, cleaning equipment. So each new team knew
I am the RE lead in a church school. We currently follow the agreed syllabus but are beginning to feel it’s a bit dated now. Some staff feel teaching more Islam would be more beneficial in current times. Any suggestions or schemes that could help us? #RE@saiston
I am the RE lead in a church school. We follow the agreed syllabus but some teachers feel that our curriculum needs a heavier Islam input in order to become more current. Any suggestions on how I could implement this or where I can get schemes or ideas from. 👍
@MrJH_Broseley @bryngoodman @MissRH_Broseley @JoYoungTA@SAiston I did laugh but must admit I can be found doing this now ... but with in the moment marking it is usually much less anyway.
