You’re not officially a teacher unless someone you live with has told you that they’re not one of the children in your class and you can’t speak to them like that.
@kinzalouise Thanks for sharing this! I found this excellent TES link which leads to a teacher who shows you the best way to approach SPL. I’ve used this as a foundation to hopefully sort out my SPL in the next few months.

Shout out to anyone who can’t relax until they’ve done some work, but can’t bring themselves to open their laptop so are just sitting around getting more and more anxious. #edutwitter
Has anyone else just felt a bit bleugh this half term? I don’t really know how to describe the feeling but I’ve just felt EUGH. Meh. I dunno, maybe it’s just me😂
@SmallSchool_KS2 I am a Reception Teacher. We are doing mostly short videos on their own. Or incorporated into short PPTs with voiceovers. Then on a Monday & Friday doing a 30min live catch-up with children. Asking how they are doing and reading a story... or singing songs.
Shout out to anyone who did something what wasn’t on their to do list, then added it to the list afterwards and crossed it off as if it was on there in the first place. #edutwitter
Schools will never ‘close’. They will be open to vulnerable and key worker children. Alongside this, teachers will then work their backsides off to provide online learning for other children. Explain how that is the same as being furloughed?
