Third grade's 1st annual Thanksgiving Day parade inspired by the book "Balloons Over Broadway." Students learned about Tony Sarg, the puppeteer behind the design of the enormous floating balloons used in the Macy's Day parade, and made some balloon creations of their own!

The students had a wonderful visit from children's author Laura Murray today!! She's the incredible author of "The Gingerbread Man Loose ..." series. Students were encouraged to use vivid verbs and juicy adjectives when telling their stories! @SeldensLanding @LauraMurrayBook
