As I now have Monday to myself (both boys now at school and I dont work Mondays) I've decided to try and do some 'fitness'. I already run most weeks so I tried Joe Wicks. Only 20 mins and I'm blinking shattered but it felt good. Now I'm ready to do some work and enjoy my day.
@Konnie_Huq I bought this for my 5 yr old son and his older brother (9) loves it. The youngest one likes it too but doesn't get the messages in the story or the references like my eldest does.
@TeachingAHT Its certainly going to be interesting. I was telling the small groups of children we've had in this week that they will probably feel tired and that's ok. I looked at my TA and we both said 'We will too!'
I have spent the last two days spending quality time talking to small groups of small children and playing 'What's the time Mr Wolf?'
#KS1 First two days back have been wonderful. Happy children and happy teacher.
The panic is starting to kick in! Just 8 days to get ready for a new way of teaching and a brand new key stage! I bought this diary, but feel unorganised chaos would be a better phrase atm. Think I might try the pomodoro technique to focus, but in the meantime it's lists galore!
@Crowther79Laura No. I think that's fine, especially if you explain to your colleagues you have a limited amount of time and need to crack on. I agree with the headphones idea though- good tactic.
@kashleyenglish I always presumed it was spelt with a j at the beginning, although I have never attempted to write it down before. Nice to see it in print.
