I feel for our teachers & students. As kids sit there quietly, distanced, behind masks and partitions... it’s hard to generate the same energy in the classroom. It’s hard to have the same engagement & rapport. I know it’s what is necessary for school right now.

However your kids are going back to school this fall - in person, hybrid, or remote - make sure you thank their teachers. They are reinventing everything they've ever done and in many cases, risking their lives, so your kids can learn. They deserve everyone's respect.
