@cluzniak Forget Calc and teach these kids about stats and data manipulation so they can critically analyze information. A select number of fields use Calc, but all students will eligible to vote right after high school.
The upcoming launch🚀 of @NASAWebb is only the beginning. The following 29 days will be exciting, but harrowing. Thousands of parts must work correctly to unfold Webb, all while it flies through space alone, to a destination nearly a million miles away. https://t.co/9K5H64extx
So much of what we need to fix in education isn't happening because those working in education are so exhausted that we don't have the time or energy to fix enough of it.

🟣recognize science as relevant to their lives and future
🟣develop agency in science
🟣consider careers in science and engineering

If students leave school without:
1) knowing their talents
2) finding their passions
3) a sense of purpose
4) confidence experienced from success
then we have failed them.

Just thought I’d remind you of that fact.
Sincerely,
