I cannot express how proud I am of the fantastic staff we are lucky to have in our school family. We have tried to keep going as normal ‘as we can’ and we will continue to serve our vulnerable or key workers. Hard times ahead I’m sure but we will try our best. #sjsb #family

We worked together and made posters to put up in class to inform everyone how we treat animals. Our message, in class 3 is very simple. LOOK AFTER OUR ANIMALS! 🐐🐰🐥🌎 #sjsb @StJosephStBede #parenthub @FarmSjsb

A big thank you to a past pupil who stopped one of our goats being stolen at about 2.30pm this afternoon. I was there at 3pm and they were all ok. A little quiet but ok. They are now all locked away safely. Please keep being vigilant. These are defenceless baby animals! Mrs M

We have been learning about animals that live in Kenya. We looked closely at their skin and painted what we could see#sjsb @StJosephStBede

We are very grateful to a neighbour but extremely saddened that they spotted youths shouting and hurting our animals yesterday. If you see or hear anything please report it to school, we will pass to the police. We have given extra cuddles and placed extra security measures.

Bishop John recalls his visit to our school @StJosephStBede ‘I visited another primary school that is putting the Environment high in its priorities. This one, in Bury, has opened a school farm, with goats and chickens and rabbits. There are plans to grow a variety of vegetables.

We had a wonderful time at Blackpool Zoo! We got to see a variety of unusual animals and had the chance to watch lots of shows 🐅🦓🐘🐪🦍🦒 #sjsb @StJosephStBede #parenthub @BlackpoolZoo

As a class we made a giant honeycomb! First we painted bubble wrap and printed it onto white card. Once it had dried we used black and yellow felt tips to draw our own bumblebees 🐝 #impactweek #sjsb @StJosephStBede #parenthub
