@Miss_Snuffy The teaching apprenticeship programme is a fab way for unqualified teachers to learn on the job, government funded, and gives the opportunity to learn about all aspects of teaching to support them in the classroom. Getting qualified doesn't need to be obstructively bureaucratic.

@shiftms Yes, I now follow a Mediterranean diet and have integrated this with the glucose revolution. I was never much of a drinker before but now even easier rarer and when I do, only red wine.

@MissSHECT A little known fact is that it is possible to have an induction period of only 1 yr. This was apparently originally designed for those who had been unqualified teachers before doing teacher training but it means that you will absolutely be able to complete induction in 1yr.

Some serious food for thought. I've not been inspired to read books that I've bought but so glad, with a long tube journey to today's @PearsonEdexcel @EmporiumMaths CPD, I decided to pick up this book by @ChrisMcGrane84 @EmathsUK. Lots of bookmarks in the future of this book!

@kyledevans I love this question, I use it when doing uni interview prep as it's such an insightful question when seeing how a student copes with it on their own. I think there's also a lovely follow on question which they need to think even harder about which brings up the question of 0^0
