Hallway fact fluency practice! The students think we’re playing a game, but really we’re just being purposeful with our transition minutes! If I forget the cards they are sure to remind me!
It took a lot of perseverance but we got there and I am so proud of my students but even better they are proud of themselves! We also learned a lot about “All Means All!” There are many different learners in my class but when we set the goal of ALL that meant ALL! @RStar512
When you get a new student and your students PERFECTLY explain to him how and why we do collaborative conversations in reading, building thinking classrooms in math, and our math and reading WIGs🤩 I love seeing them take ownership in their learning! @RStar512
We’ve been working hard typing our partner fantasy narratives! The prompt was to write a Magic School Bus fantasy narrative about a field trip to a northeast landmark. @RStar512
Writing has been a strong focus this year in 4th Grade. Watching students take their ideas to paper, eager to share, and invested in a final product is a cool thing 😎
A huge thank you to @MrsRush_5 for coming in and doing a lesson about the effects of hurtful comments! The students loved their “new student” blue! @RStar512
