I haven’t been able to influence my kids on their choices in music, fashion or food

I can barely get them to eat or go to bed, how could we imagine that a teacher might influence them in any way on their core identity

I know you have concerns and anxieties, but trust your kids, talk to your kids, listen to them. If you do that, I assure you, no teacher will ever need to tell you who they are, you will know.
