Rather than ‘tell me’ I love the ‘show me’….because in art it’s not ‘just’ about knowing, it’s being able to do too!!

@effortfuleduktr Sir Ken is right! Spoon feeding them and making schools exam machines has taken away their ability to think. They take no responsibility for their learning and see it as separate from themselves. Therefore being creative is ‘too hard’ for them as it requires something of them.

@RogersHistory I went down to two days a week - it’s much more pleasant and manageable now. Although I feel like I work full time and I have 15 different classes which is a lot of admin.

@ArtyTeacher I agree. It’s such a waste of time. I’d love to spend that time doing subject specific CPD. Otherwise we don’t get to develop our pedagogy in any meaningful way.

@JackNayland @BBCNews Carers allowance is £76.75. That is if you ‘care’ for 35+ hours a week. If you earn £139 a week elsewhere then you receive £0.

@nmgilbride We found it worthwhile to book our first 3 nights in a Disney hotel (before going to our Villa) as this meant we could access the early booking for food/rides - not sure if this is still the case.
