@spencerpratt We live in Florida and my husband is from Los Angeles. We go there twice a year and see the decline every time. Too bad because it’s the most beautiful place on earth. We would live there if it was better and not so expensive. Bring it back!

Captain Jon Jackson was supposed to take his final retirement flight with Spirit Airlines today. But after Spirit's shutdown, he instead found himself as a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight into Baltimore.

What happened next was truly special. Capt. Jackson was honored with a traditional water cannon salute and a surprise welcome celebration at the gate.

This is a powerful reminder that the aviation community is built on respect, compassion, and solidarity—especially when it matters most. Above all, this moment was about honoring a fellow aviator.

Congratulations, Capt. Jackson, and thank you for your years of service in the skies.

I appreciate the White House offering to help ensure CA fire victims are fully compensated by insurance companies - we should all welcome the help and encourage our CA leadership to take it. I propose Mayor Bass, Governor Newsom, & all of the insurance company CEOs fly to DC, meet with President Trump, do a roundtable, and not leave the room until there is a solution where fire victims get paid quickly & fairly. Since LA & CA are having budget problems, I’m happy to pay the plane tickets for the Mayor and Governor. Let’s get it done.
