However, applying industrial-strength peroxide can degrade the polymer structure, leading to swelling, discoloration, or delamination if the coating was improperly applied. So it's safe to assume the coating was not applied correctly to begin with. The substrate must be completely cleaned, dried, and properly primed before applying polyurea/polyurethane.
