I am hoping to get all of my new online students to apply for a Brampton Public Library card, so that they can all READ despite the limitations of COVID-19. Free for all residents of Ontario, but you must pick up at a local library branch in Brampton. https://t.co/H2AGGHtEN7
If you've got a Brampton Library card, you can download this app to access great books (for either curbside pickup, or e-books, available on the CloudLibrary app). Brampton has a great library system, because membership is FREE for all Ontarians, no matter what city you live in!
Emerging Technologies Librarian Olivia walks you through everything you need to know about the new BL Mobile App.
Check out the video and be sure to download the app today!

The good news is that the cases in schools are reflective of cases in the community and are not indicative of spread within the schools. We seem to be doing a good job of identifying, isolating, and containing cases so far.
The number of new COVID-19 cases in public schools across Ontario has jumped by 144 from the previous day, to a total of 932 in the last two weeks.

“Someone with a 1-hr car commute needs to earn 40% more to be as happy as someone with a short walk to work. On the other hand, if someone shifts from a long commute to a walk, their happiness increases as much as if they’d fallen in love.” #CityMakingMath https://t.co/L9qdJ2jqic
