Today was so fun, getting to look at everybody's micro bits before class! I loved that we got to use @MsAlexTeaches 's magic 8 Ball to make our decision! @WSUVEdTech1#wsuEdTech
I would use microbit to show images corresponding to heat, light, sound, and electricity when certain buttons are pressed and the device is shaken! Programming is fun!!🕹🖥

Just finished reading “Ghost Boys” by Jewell Parker Rhodes. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a way to introduce social justice in the classroom! It’s a quick, powerful read that will capture you and your students!
Today in #WSUVEdTevh, @miss_stef_m and I had to debug our program in order to make everything run smoothly! Lots of exploring through the different options in Scratch and I’d say ours is pretty spicy!🌶🥵 @WSUVEdTech1#Spicy
Today we learned that technology needs to be engaging if you are going to use it for meaningful learning! Balance the use of tech and student engagement! 🍎 @WSUVEdTech1#WSUVEdTech
Today @SarahRo34655289 and I discussed various classroom activities and figured out which ones would promote authentic learning! We also identified differences between problem-based and project-based learning!🎉🍎✨ @WSUVEdTech1#WSUVEdTech
Multiple intelligences can help you to differentiate your teaching strategies. All students can learn, but not all students learn the same way! @WSUVEdTech1#WSUVEdTech
I’m proud Washington was just named the best state in the nation for educators.
Our educators work hard. And they are absolutely fundamental to our state’s success.
