In class, we learned about computational thinking and how it can be used inside the classroom. My group played the Rosie Runtime game to learn how it works using algorithms. I cannot wait to work on my Scratch!

Today I learned about the Learning and Technology Framework and talked in my group more in depth about it. I cannot wait until I get my classroom, so I can incorporate this framework into my lesson plans! 💻✏️

Today, I had fun completing the Do Bee charts and hearing everyone's responses. I also loved seeing all the newsletters that everyone created! For the Reference Lesson Plan, @JoykNelson and I plan to turn it in tomorrow!

Today, I learned that my highest multiple intelligences are Visual-Spatial (13) & Interpersonal (13) and my least is Verbal-Linguistic (9). Most importantly, all children can learn, but not every student learns in the same way!

Today, @JoykNelson and I presented our lesson plan to our group of amazing 2nd graders @MsAlexTeaches @VeronicaVLebed1 @SarahRo34655289 @eiseman_joshua! Each group included Marzano strategies inside their inactive and informative lesson plans.

Today, I learned the differences between informal vs formal assessments and formative vs summative assessments. Also, now know many different ways to view student progress and measure student mastery in learning targets.

While working on our first edTPA lesson plan today, I began to feel like a teacher! There is a lot to learn about creating lesson plans, but that is part of the fun and art of teaching. #wsuvEdTech @WSUVEdTech1

I learned about teacher designers! These teachers create lessons that best fit the curriculum and student learning. Designers assess to diagnose student needs to find different ways to better their understanding. Teacher designers are also reflective.

Today I learned that there are two types of teaching styles: Sage on Stage & Guide on Side. When both are used inside the classroom, it supports every student towards their learning! @wsuvEdtech1 #wsuvEdTech
