@NouveauDandy Haha I got the darkness down to a t, just not the light in the morning to wake up - ever since they built on top. Now I always need to switch on lights if I actually need to get my body and brain moving. But ear plugs and eye masks became my best friends, very soothing.

@NouveauDandy It's painful and inhumane. When I leave my home in the morning thinking I'll find asylum at work, I too am bombarded by the noise of digging and construction works next door. There's just no escape. Drives me insane.

There are no laws protecting the mental health of the bystanders. Because since its not physical, unseen, then it's not important right? It's not tangible enough. Laws are only protecting the contractors. People who can stay away from the construction site, in their own haven.
