We are studying street art as a nonliterary text, and the students did a great job of "throwing" their names, using color archetypes and symbolism to carry messages from literature they connect to.

IB training in Seattle has been invaluable. Super excited to return with a PLC of educational partners from Vancouver, Alaska, Portland, Chicago, etc, a ton of notes, and a collaborative Dropbox of materials.

We have a woman here who comes in early & stays late to greet us as we come in to grade. She says we have her heart, & that's why she does it. Her authentic gestures make my day every day here, and it reminds me of the impact of acts of kindness.
