@ComidaConLupa Oh dear, I have a patterdale terrier, gorgeous but crazy, I think that may mean I have some issues ๐ but hey, .he's my soul baby so that's ok X xz
@PoliceScotland Can you name the schools affected?
Parents have only received a generalised letter from Glasgow Council.
Please understand how worried parents will be x x
@PeatWorrier Former SNP Natalie McGarry was sentenced to 2 years (retrial) for embezzling almost ยฃ25k (I think I remember right), I would imagine for the amount now disclosed for Mr Murrell, then a relevant sentence should stand, but I'm not a legal expert so who knows
@ukrailadventure That's such a shame, my wee boy is 7 and absolutely adores trains, please tell Austin not to give up something he really enjoys, there's loads of wee boys just like him into trains :)
The lady at the charity shop today told me that she wishes people would clear out their children's old toys in the lead up to Christmas rather than after because she always sees a number of parents in the days before Christmas looking for toys for their little ones who might be strapped for cash. She said there's very rarely anything in just before, but that they get inundated with toys in the days after.
And it really made me think about it in a way I never would have before.
If you know your child is going to get lots of presents from Father Christmas this year, by clearing out your cupboards a few days early, you could make another child's Christmas a lot more special too.
Saw this & thought I'd repost.
All over the country a lot of healthy full grown hedgehogs are hibernating early this year.
There could be all sorts of reasons why, but it causes two problems that we can help alleviate.
1. It means they will rise from hibernation earlier, because they will run out of fat to burn. So please keep a little dry cat food and clean ice-free water out all throughout winter. You'll be a life saver.
2. Hedgehogs weave their hibernacula mostly out of leaves, and there just aren't enough around yet - they are still on the trees. So the hedgehogs will be forced to make nests out of what's always around - plastic, food wrappers, bags..anything they can forage.
As the true winter weather sets in, during late December /early January, the nests that they have made now may not insulate them sufficiently, forcing them up and out on the coldest nights.
So please leave out hay, kept dry inside a large flower pot or bucket laid on its side. Just meadow hay, which can be bought very cheaply from most supermarkets and pets stores, but could save a life.
Thank you.
Still 0 enquiries ๐ข we cannot understand this. Heโs a lovely lad, can you please share? There must be someone for Brodie, all his details are on our website. ๐๐ผ
