#OnThisDay in 1865, General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX to read Order No. 3, which affirmed the end of slavery in the states of the former Confederacy. This momentous occasion has been celebrated as #Juneteenth — a combination of “June” & “19th” — for over 150 years.

We completed our peer mediation training today in the TEAL Lab!

Training included mock mediations, talking about different issues that arise and work with students helping other students.

@rmeyer4488 @kelwalk12 I also suggest class circles. I had a full meltdown over a class like this and my friend suggested I do one. We talked about how it feels to come to that class for them and me. Think it led to some self-awareness and class got better (aka didn’t need to suck)
