I used to not think too much about how PD was planned & only showed up to learn. But now that Iโm on the other side of the table, Iโm seeing recurring elements across successful and engaging PDs. See number 1, 3, and 4! #CSUFedtech#technology@An_Wr3n
This article resonates with me as I'm planning my #EDtechPD For me, it's not about the tool, but the best practices that we can gather from it to make data-informed decisions to support student learning. #technologyPD#CSUFedtech@An_Wr3n

It's important to get students writing regularly, not just when we assign essays/research papers. I get students writing on a daily basis to activate prior knowledge, allow for creativity, or recall information. #CSUFedtech#writing@An_Wr3n

I didn't know what a #MOOC was before I started #EDEL522 with #CSUFedtech but after 2 weeks of supplementing my Korean with #duolingo, I can definitely see the benefits of #MOOCs for students as well as teachers in PD!

#Digitalliteracy can include topics like fair use & evaluating information & sources for credibility. This site has lessons for that and so much more, Including how to use the internet as a tool for social action #csufedtech#edel522

Students tend to use Wikipedia as a source of information. When talking about #medialiteracy with our students, how can we address the validity of Wikipedia? This article might help you start that conversation! #csufedtech#EDEL52

Lesson plans and resources to help you teach your students a variety of #medialiteracy skills including how to search effectively and determining whether the information is objective or biased #CSUFedtech#EDEL522
@An_Wr3n@MsTeaCHon@msamanduhwagner And believe it or not it used to be even more difficult to follow conversations on Twitter! But I do agree that there are platforms for communication that might be easier to follow #CSUFedtech#edel522
@Ms_JenNguyen @missmarissaham@RCrail5@theedtechdoctor@CSUF_EdTech@instagram Yes, from students with parents who have not fully embraced digital learning to families without stable access to internet. But one big improvement was moving to a district that supplied chromebooks for the students.
@ECrespo117 @Ms_JenNguyen Do you use google meet mostly for group project collaboration (small groups of students) or dial-in type lessons/lectures? #edel522#CSUFedtech
@BrookeBemo @CSUF_EdTech I went from a district without district supplied chrome books to one with them, and itโs greatly increased access. I still have the rare student without consistent access to internet, so I would love to see WiFi hotspots introduced as well! #CSUFedTech#edel522
@CSUF_EdTech@MsAGMarket I have had students reluctant to use Flipgrid im the past and started to utilize it for extra credit or supplemental assignments which exposed enough students to the idea and allowed me to expand its use as word spread about how innovative it was. #edel522#CSUFedTech
@mr_redyns Iโm also surprised at how much creativity kids can express through digital media in general. Itโs great to see shy kiddos open up from the comfort of their homes. #edel522#CSUFedtech
@msbendersclass @amberdeestewart @SkypeClassroom Were you able to have your class ask questions as well? If so did you use a dedicated microphone/laptop with one student at a time? #EDEL522#CSUFedtech
@Briana_EdTech @tyse0115@Seesaw @Flipgrid Iโve also used flipgrid not as much reaction and speaking to the camera but also voiceovers for diagrams or illustrations which worked nicely in the right context #EDEL522#CSUFedtech
