@ScottWurm The Hunger Games is good for girls and boys. Anything John Green is also usually really fascinating too, but is often geared towards girls. Turtles All The Way Down was about a kid with OCD and it was cool to really get inside the head of someone with OCD (John Green has it)

@Mrpchemistry @KatyDornbos @johannabrown I’m seeing the same thing in the middle school. If I use technology, there is always a purpose in mind. Other than notes, a few videos and some Gizmos, my class is “old school” for the most part. Kids can interact with each other and work with things hands on most of the time.

I love seeing what my seventh graders come up with. The different ways of determining the most absorbent diapers was my favorite part of this lab. Every procedure was unique and allowed the students to problem solve as a small group. Then they presented their finding to peers

@APchemisMe @POGILproject Exactly, there is a method to the madness in a way. Everything builds on each other to help answer the objective. And objectives can change—frequently I might add.
