After a long hiatus, I proudly present more cat videos! Start yourself off with this very short video of Mama Tabitha trilling for her babies. Sad and moving song, and it results in one kitten coming up for kisses. https://t.co/LqVZCgZHJ6 Corrigan is the shyest of this litter.

A sweet little #ShortStoryRomance for #NewYear2022. Everyone on earth has had a rough couple of years, but 2022 will represent a brand new start for us. Here's a vet and the boy next door. Happy Year of the Tiger! https://t.co/wn9jEIdjpQ

My first post in ages! A little humorous Christmas poetry to make your evening merry and bright (and hot as you'd like). https://t.co/FRGA2KlpfD #Christmas2021

Happy holidays!

Some thoughts on wolves and what they mean in stories, what they mean to us. https://t.co/80NNfGTmR2 Times are changing, but I'm not sure we'll go back to the old monsters.

#Caturday is where my creativity is at this week! I met Millie's four kittens (they've been hiding for six weeks!) and share three videos in this week's post. Not directly related to writing, but there's got to be a moral in here somewhere! https://t.co/1kzkEOvQkI

I'm chiming in on the "Cat Person" story today. https://t.co/9DgYnmiPCz I can't see any way around getting details from real life, but it's probably better to file off the serial numbers, particularly if your detail donor is not in the public eye.

Good news! Our @KayKeppler finished her book, and it sounds like just the thing for a fraughtless summer read! You can read about it here: https://t.co/RttGyvtuJB Ms. Matched.

I woke up with the summer blahs and another day of writer's block. Still have the writer's block, but I feel better about things. (And actually wrote two things! Not what I was supposed to write, but still . . . . https://t.co/afuz0xADRb) #amwriting

The Care and Feeding of Your Author: I'm having a very indulgent week. Come for the #Caturday pictures, stay and leave your own summer treats. https://t.co/tSzb2pwqYL #amreading Hilary Mantel to reward myself for doing a blog post on a gorgeous summer day.

@SJ_Watson BTW, the GRRM books have been sitting on my shelf ever since my mother gave them to me, saying they weren't really her thing. I'm intimidated by the time commitment, trauma from Wheel of Time reading, & all the violence of the TV show (which I didn't watch, but ofc, knew about).

[Michaeline Duskova @MsDuskova]

@SJ_Watson 2/2 as soon as I finished, & loved that one as well. I'm staring at the paperback of The Mirror & the Light as I type. That sucker is bigger'n a GRRM book, and I'm intimidated all over again. But, I know it's going to be good, so I'm probably going to commit to it this evening.

I won't wish you a happy Juneteenth; it was a happy announcement sandwiched between human misery and struggle to keep a proclaimed freedom. I think my job is to do my part to make sure the bad parts don't happen again.

#amreading for perspective.

[Clint Smith @ClintSmithIII]

One of the chapters in HOW THE WORD IS PASSED describes a trip I took to Galveston, TX to spend Juneteenth on the same land where enslaved Texans had learned of their freedom. It was a remarkable experience. You can read an excerpt in the @parisreview: https://t.co/V12QUonUHi

@wordpressdotcom Thank you! I would like you to take a closer look. I did have an H2 heading, and tried changing it to H1, H3 -- H6, but that seemed to only change the size of the two headings. The 2 headings seemed to be part of the same block. TODAY, 2 blocks, was able to remove one. Maybe OK?

[Michaeline Duskova @MsDuskova]

Please, I need help with Wordpress Blocks; usu. I put the post title in the dashboard, then progress to the new blocks. But today, I cut the middleman and went straight to Posts, & now my post has TWO titles. See? How to fix? @wordpressdotcom @wpbeginner

Video Saturday! A friend sent me a clip of Dali explaining his art, and I felt so smart! After 50 years, though, some things became mainstream, if you know what I mean. https://t.co/kX1086krnb Interesting process! #amwriting

Brainstorm Saturday! I'm using a Boston Dynamics' dancing robot video for inspiration. Come on by https://t.co/168zaIxK6d, & drop an idea you can't use off, rustle through the content and see if you can pick up one you can use. #RomanticRobots #amwriting #PoughkeepsieIdeaService

[Michaeline Duskova @MsDuskova]

I found @LaurelCoons 's tweet featuring the dancing robots of Boston Dynamics so inspirational! How inspirational? Well, at least 5 story ideas worth of inspiration! https://t.co/168zaIxK6d #storyseed indeed! Come&share your ideas that just aren't jelling for you. Or pick one up!

It's a wild, wild world. If you need a quick break of calming cat videos, I have a slew of cutie-shorts for you. Here's one playlist: 2021 Kittens https://t.co/aO0YCGuQaq I've made a whole space opera about the adult cats; adventures continue! (first one below) #FarmcatsOfTokachi
