@LWMEdProf I will advocate for my students #DigitalEquity by bringing in all the tech I can to be an example of how #EdTech impacts student learning, and bringing in proven statistics and research to defend student need. #ITIs19
@CazalesAlex I love this, Alex! I discovered recently the bullying that occurs in google classroom and I was blown away. It is so important to be aware and proactive with these things!
Sometimes our younger students just don't understand plagiarism yet, and it's our job to teach them! Here is an engaging video for teachers and students to help introduce the concept. #ITIS19

@MsMGorga I absolutely love this! Very engaging. The more we dig into in the more I see the importance of starting students off with a solid foundation of digital citizenship as early as possible.
There is hope for every student, no matter what they've gone through...but you might be the one that has to bring it out. #kidsdeserveit

@LWMEdProf I have seen many issues come up in the field surrounding tech. A few that have come up have been plagiarism (students not understanding that copy/pasting is no different that copying straight from a text), inappropriate usage, and bullying through collaborative resources.
@CazalesAlex I have actually been thinking about this. Not only should there be a limit- but should we be limited what we are integrating tech into? Should be still be pushing standard approaches in some ways?
If anyone has time, the below is a really resourceful read on the importance of digital communication on "smart" teaching! #ITIS19#Informedteachersarehappyteachers

@LWMEdProf In my internship we use google classroom for just about every content area and students use it extensively to collaborate with each other. We also use somewhat of a social media plat form to communicate with parents and families and different things from our classroom!
As students grow their literacy skills, they become more confident. A middle school educator explains how “The Next Step Forward in Reading Intervention: The #RISEframework” can help https://t.co/rEHiDUKPc9 @middleweb@ellenusauk @DrJanrichardson
This was a phenomenal read. Really interesting to see the innovative ways these technologies are being used in different classroom settings and beyond! #TTLs18 https://t.co/QJfdn0YDzr
