People who come to Britain on temporary work visas should not automatically be able to stay forever.
This Labour government was right to make that harder. Now their MPs want them to u-turn.
Conservatives will back Labour’s original plan to help get it through Parliament.
Let me reintroduce my business. 👋

the previous c/section scar on the womb can open up(rupture) or start opening (dehiscence) and this is life threatening.
Let me tell you how the blood flows out when the Womb ruptures... open your tap in your kitchen... imagine that flowing without you locking it...
that's how easily that woman can die.
Stop being irresponsible and use a bloody contraceptive!
Was in a bus with her.
An elderly man asked her jokingly why a fine girl like her is jumping bus and she absolutely went batshit crazy.
She started abusing and roasting the man. Called him all sorts of names and cursed him for more then 30 minutes.
You know those embarrassing situations where the entire bus goes quiet because a mad person is displaying madness?
I've never been so embarrassed in my life.
At some point I even wanted to intervene and she changed it for me too, saying I cannot command her because I've not married her yet.
I knew right there and then, if I married her, I would die young.
She was a sweet girl though, just had some loose wires upstairs.
The beatings worked like mad:
- we cannot challenge authority
- we keep electing leaders that rob us and rub it in our faces
- we maintain a culture of silence that enables the cycle of abuse
- we dissociate and can only process difficult emotions through the lens of religion
This is a very important case. Let me explain it in a simple Q&A format so that everyone from laymen to new medical students can learn from it.
Q. What is this condition?
• It is a life-threatening emergency called Rhabdomyolysis.
Q. What exactly happened?
• Pushing unconditioned muscles to the extreme caused his muscle fibers to burst and die.
• These dying muscles leaked a toxic protein (Myoglobin) into his blood, which completely clogged and destroyed his kidneys. This is what caused the dark Coca-Cola urine.
• The fatal blow? Bursting muscle cells dump massive amounts of Potassium into the bloodstream. This sudden potassium spike short-circuited his heart, causing a cardiac arrest.
Q. Could he have been saved?
• Absolutely! If he had rushed to the casualty the moment he saw the dark urine, we would have started aggressive IV fluids. This flushes the toxic myoglobin out to save the kidneys and dilutes the deadly potassium before it can stop the heart.
Q. How to avoid it?
• Never jump into intense 2 hour workouts after months of zero exercise. Pace yourself.
• Hydrate aggressively to keep your kidneys flushed.
• If your muscles are intensely swollen and your pee turns dark, go to the casualty immediately!

Ehen I finally have my thoughts put together
So this breast cancer and PMOS discourse is actually the same conversation and we’re somehow acting like it isn’t
Both come down to one thing, someone deciding they can’t commit to a partner because of a health condition they either don’t fully understand or don’t feel “equipped” to handle. To me, that’s a valid reason to leave. It might be uncomfortable but yeah
Where it gets sketchy is that breast cancer is hereditary and PMOS is not. Sooo if anything, the hereditary argument gives the breast cancer one more weight
But then I don’t even think that should be the basis of the conversation. Nobody should have to justify why a health condition feels like too much for them to take on
We just have to be consistent about extending the same grace or we don’t extend at all
All in all sha, it’s easier to make these decisions from the sidelines lol
When I had my first daughter, as you all know, my pelvic bone broke and I had a condition called ‘pelvic symphysis disfunction’. I couldn’t walk for 3 months and I was in excruciating pain.
During this period, I started physiotherapy and it was one of the worst periods of my life. I couldn’t walk, eat, sleep or do anything.
My mother in law is a retired nurse so she moved into my house. She was with me all through. My mum used to come and relieve her during the weekends. Due to the fact that the pain was mostly unbearable, my mother in law used to give me pain relief injections because I couldn’t even swallow anything because I wasn’t eating enough. My mother in law would take my daughter through the night and nurse her. For the first 3 months after delivery, I never did night duty. It was my mother in-law and my mum that used to do alternate days. She even used to bathe me when my mum wasn’t around. She will clean my CS wound for me and dress me up just like my mum would. 🥹🥹🥹🥹
There were days my mother in-law will ask me what I wanted to eat, I will say rice. She will cook it and I will burst into tears that I didn’t want any more. She will make as many things as I wanted and never complained.
Even when I had the twins, she was always there with my mum to assist me.
My mum is also a fantastic mother in-law to my sister in-law. She doesn’t snoop or add her mouth in conversations that she’s not called into. She knows her place.
I’m lucky to have a wonderful mum and an amazing mother in law.
Not all mother in-laws are terrible. I am so lucky to have her.
I have a lot of stories to share about that woman 🥹🥹🥹🥹
My younger sister in the UK and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy, so I contacted a food vendor to prepare a special nursing mum soup for her. I explained exactly how I wanted it prepared.
A few hours later, my sister sent me a picture of the soup, along with two additional bowls of yam pepper soup. I was surprised because I hadn’t ordered them. The vendor had simply gone out of her way to prepare an extra dish for my sister. Such a thoughtful gesture, and I was genuinely grateful.
Guys, if you’re in the Portsmouth or Southsea area, please patronize her! She prepares and sells all kinds of delicious meals and can also make dishes that aren’t listed on her menu.
You can check out her Instagram page or send her a message on WhatsApp. Good food and thoughtful service deserve to be appreciated and supported!
